LOUD & PROUD

LOUD & PROUD is a free and funded inclusive band mentorship programme facilitated by myself (Sinead) alongside an amazing team of adaptive music specialists and community musicians. We are passionate about making musical experiences accessible and fun for everyone, especially our Disability community in Te matau-a-Māui.

We hold weekly sessions on Tuesdays at Paisley Stage in Napier.

Meet the Team

Sinead

Kia ora, I am Sinead Hegarty (she/they) a music therapist from Te matau-a-Māui and now proud to be supporting my community through music.

Campbell

Campbell Burns (B.A Music) is a musician, music facilitator and sound artist currently living in the bay.

Nico

Nicolas Lopez is originally from Colombia and now residing in Hawke's Bay, Nico is a skilled musician, guitarist and dance instructor who directs cultural performances with local dancers and Musicians, all while advancing his music studies at EIT.

Guest Mentors

Throughout year that we invite guest mentors to facilitate themed workshops. So far we have had a visit from African Drumming Hawkes Bay.
